The existing bathroom had a shower, bath, sink and toilet, with a free standing towel rail, and was quite cramped. The décor, while tidy, was quite dated, and not easy to keep clean.
After going through all the options with our Designer, the customer requested a clutter free, more spacious bathroom, with a walk in shower, no bath, and a vanity unit. A fold up seat was also to be fitted in the shower, together with a grab rail.
Following a Technical Survey, the installation was carried out and was completed in within a week.
The existing bath, shower cubicle, toilet, sink, radiator and tiling were removed, leaving a blank canvas for the new walk in shower to be fitted.
Pergamon Marble wall cladding has been fitted floor to ceiling to give a modern and airy feel to the room, and enabling easy cleaning. Zeus Misty Morning vinyl flooring competed the look.
A Majestic shower cubicle was fitted, complete with an electric shower. The clean lines of the Majestic added to the new light and airy feel to the room.
A Telford toilet with lever flush added to the modern feel, and the vanity unit with integral sink reinforced the clean and tidy look.
A chrome grab rail, and folding white seat in the shower area were installed to enable the customer to shower unaided.
A chrome integral towel rail/radiator was also added, giving a sleek and professional finish to the whole room.
The difference this has made to the customer is immense. No longer having to step into the shower, or climb into a bath, they can now walk straight into a shower with confidence, having the option to sit down if required, and also having the grab rail to steady themselves.
With the complete removal of the bath, this has given the customer more room to manoeuvre, providing a much safer environment for the customer.
The addition of the Vanity unit provided the ideal place to hide all those little bits and pieces so often on display in a bathroom, adding to the “clutter-free” feel of the room.
